The urban ropeways sales manager promotes the ropeway technology to transit agencies, public authorities, urban & transportation planners, other private, public and academic stakeholders, among others. Thanks to his/her extensive sector knowledge and interpersonal contacts, he/she sources new sales opportunities and closes sales using different arrangements either in B2B or B2G settings (Public Private Partnerships (PPP/P3), public supply & tenders, etc.). This offer entails the management and growth of the North American (USA & Canada) market for urban ropeways for Leitner-Poma of America.

The Electrical Engineer I role is a full time position within the Electrical Engineering Department. The role involves transportation system design, research and development, and commissioning of PLCs, HMIs, and AC drives and motors.

The Diesel Powertrain Production Technician will be responsible for producing and testing new diesel power modules used for the ski lift backup power supply. Responsibilities will also include performing diagnostics and troubleshooting issues found in production units as well as those already in service.

The Industrial Painter will be responsible for utilizing a paint gun to spray gallons of paint at once on ski lift and ropeway parts with no deficiencies.

The Pre-Assembler produces moderately complex assembly components by setting up and assembling sub-components as part of the pre-assembly process; while maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.

The Sheave Assembler produces moderately complex assembly components by setting up and assembling the Sheave components as part of the assembly process; while maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.

Leitner-Poma of America is seeking Full-Time Flame Cutting Operator to assist in upcoming projects. Flame operator must be able to understand and apply various operational techniques, work quickly and skillfully with their hands and with others to complete components in specified time frame.

The Machinist III produces complex machined parts by setting up/programming and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.

Leitner-Poma of America is seeking Full-Time Welders to assist in upcoming projects. Welders must be able to understand and apply welding techniques, work quickly and skillfully with their hands and with others to complete components in specified time frame.

Seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an electrical service management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service and support of cable transport equipment control and power systems.

The Civil/Structural Engineer III will be responsible for coordinating high level design civil or structural design projects with other Engineers, designers, project managers, or other professionals. This includes supervising and participating in many Civil Engineering duties such as analysis, layout, design, and review of construction for a wide range of projects. These projects involve any type of ropeway transportation systems, e.g. Ski lifts, gondolas, tramways, APMs, observation wheels, etc. This position plays a key role in coordinating and designing the foundations and structures of each project.

The Mechanical Engineer III be responsible for coordinating high level structural and machinery design projects with other Engineers, designers, project managers, or other professionals. This includes supervising and participating in many Mechanical Engineering duties such as analysis, layout, design, and review of construction for a wide range of projects. These projects involve any type of ropeway transportation systems, e.g. Ski lifts, gondolas, tramways, APMs, observation wheels, etc. This position plays a key role in coordinating and designing the drive train, tension system, line equipment, and specialty tools that are used in LPOA’s products.

The mechanical Field Technician will perform many forms of ski lift, gondola and tram maintenance. This role will assist the Service Department by working directly with customers through hands on mechanical work. Work will be performed with a high regard to safety and reliability of equipment

The Electrical Field Technician will be responsible for assisting customers, trouble-shooting problems with existing equipment, modifying/upgrading existing installations, and installation of new electrical equipment on projects throughout North America.

Leitner-Poma of America is seeking Full-Time Welders to assist in upcoming projects. Welders must be able to understand and apply welding techniques, work quickly and skillfully with their hands and with others to complete components in specified time frame.

We are currently accepting applications for exciting opportunities to work on our latest airport tramway at the Miami International Airport. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC’s, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, electrical or mechanical systems and be willing to relocate to the Miami, Florida region.

The Logistics Agent/Material Handler receives, unpacks, and examines goods received and verifies completeness of shipments against invoices and other records. This role prepares products for shipment, counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against the order. This position may utilize power tools and large machinery such as fork-lifts or cranes.

Leitner-Poma of America is seeking Full-Time Blasting Operator who will set up, operate multiple pieces of equipment; use multiple hand tools; read and interpret blueprints; produce quality parts according to specifications. Ensure that all specifications are followed. The blast operator must be able to understand and apply various operational techniques, work quickly and skillfully with their hands and with others to complete components in specified time frame.
