The Human Resources Assistant will be called upon to perform the day to day administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Leitner-Poma of America’s Human Resources Department.
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to all office staff and plays a key role in the success of office operations serving as the first point of contact for visitors into the office. Responsibilities may include screening calls, managing calendars, creating invoices, drafts, memos, emails, and handles all filing for the Finance Department. This person is detail oriented and has a proven history of strong organizational skills.
The Parts and Inventory Manager takes customer parts orders with suppliers, and examines goods received and verifies completeness of shipments against invoices and other records. This role prepares products for shipment, counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against the order. This position may utilize power tools and machinery such as fork-lifts.
This is a unique project requiring employees to have the ability to hike up the mountain each day to the job site and physically work for 9+ hours a day. Ideal candidates would have a wide range of experience in mechanics, excavation and concrete, as well as heavy equipment. The Ski Lift Installers would report to an Installation Project Manager assisting them with assembling machinery, surveying, excavating, and pouring concrete for the foundation, and overall installation of the ski lifts.
The Industrial Painter will be responsible for utilizing a paint gun to spray gallons of paint at once on ski lift and ropeway parts with no deficiencies.
The SAP Product Manager is part of the global corporate SAP support team reporting to the global Head of SAP Services and is responsible for managing the SAP PP module and Industry 4.0 integrations with special focus for LPoA and other North American locations of the group and the related processes. They collaborate with the key users of multiple departments such as production, planning, engineering, shipping and receiving, purchasing, service, as well as their colleagues in charge of other SAP modules in the global ERP team to achieve the best value of systems management for the group. The SAP Product Manager provides user support, training, progress reports and goals for continued improvement of organizational processes. The current SAP system is closely linked with Teamcenter as PLM system and with specific industry 4.0 interfaces to various industrial equipment in the field of production and logistics. Various in-house and commercial software programs such as CRM and webshop applications are also used to supplement and link the data in the ERP and PLM primary database systems.
The Pre-Assembler produces moderately complex assembly components by setting up and assembling sub-components as part of the pre-assembly process; while maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.
The Sheave Assembler produces moderately complex assembly components by setting up and assembling the Sheave components as part of the assembly process; while maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.
Leitner-Poma of America is seeking Full-Time Flame Cutting Operator to assist in upcoming projects. Flame operator must be able to understand and apply various operational techniques, work quickly and skillfully with their hands and with others to complete components in specified time frame.
The Machinist III produces complex machined parts by setting up/programming and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.
Leitner-Poma of America is seeking Full-Time Welders to assist in upcoming projects. Welders must be able to understand and apply welding techniques, work quickly and skillfully with their hands and with others to complete components in specified time frame.
Seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an electrical service management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service and support of cable transport equipment control and power systems.
The Civil/Structural Engineer III will be responsible for coordinating high level design civil or structural design projects with other Engineers, designers, project managers, or other professionals. This includes supervising and participating in many Civil Engineering duties such as analysis, layout, design, and review of construction for a wide range of projects. These projects involve any type of ropeway transportation systems, e.g. Ski lifts, gondolas, tramways, APMs, observation wheels, etc. This position plays a key role in coordinating and designing the foundations and structures of each project.

This includes supervising and participating in many Mechanical Engineering duties such as analysis, layout, design, and review of construction for a wide range of projects. These projects involve any type of ropeway transportation systems, e.g. Ski lifts, gondolas, tramways, APMs, observation wheels, etc. This position plays a key role in coordinating and designing the drive train, tension system, line equipment, and specialty tools that are used in LPOA’s products.

The Electrical Field Technician will be responsible for assisting customers, trouble-shooting problems with existing equipment, modifying/upgrading existing installations, and installation of new electrical equipment on projects throughout North America.

The Electrical Engineer position is full-time, includes great benefits, and is available in Grand Junction, CO. The role involves transportation system design, research and development, and commissioning of PLCs, HMIs, and AC drives and motors.
