Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to)
- Accurately layout and cut angles in small bar stock up to large structural pieces
- Set up jobs to print specifications.
- Familiarization with different materials
- Plan and coordinate material usage, drops, and cuts
- Adjust saw blades as needed
- Guide work pieces against saws or saw over work pieces by hand
- Assist managers and machine shop team on special projects as needed
- Utilize safety knowledge, protocol, and procedures to protect oneself and others

- Ability to constantly lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for 10 or more hours a day, 5-6 days a week

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma/GED
- Strong math background (familiarity with and ability to read tape measure)
- Previous machine shop experience required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic Knowledge of welding and machining symbols
Wages starting at $16.00 an hour with an additional $5.00 shift differential for second shift non training schedules.
