Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include but not limited to)

  • Manage Engineers, Field Technicians, and Designers in the department, by supervising the work of multiple projects and teams
  • Retrofits, solutions, and process
  • Engineer and develop retrofit electrical control and power systems relating to the cable transport industry, in compliance with ANSI B77 and CSA z98 and referenced standards, including ISO 13849, NFPA 70, CSA C22.1
  • Schedule the startup and commissioning of the Ropeway and control system elements
  • Schedule Electrical Technical Support on post contract lift and retrofit obligations
  • Manages staff and assigns tasks to technical personnel
  • Providing clear and concise instructions
  • Provide input with on call schedules
  • Recruit department staff, build department depth, with a goal of department stability and growth
  • Improve customer support
  • Develop and maintain Customer Support Tracking System
  • Develop and refine training to end users
  • Prioritize and communicate schedule of customer service call responses
  • Work with other departments to improve efficiency and sustainability of product designs
  • Determine the need for training and talent development within the team

OTHER JOB DUTIES

  • Support and advise in the creation and management of documentation. Including electrical manuals, to the extent of service involvement
  • Develop means and methods to improve design and efficiencies

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • English Proficiency
  • Shown proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience with project management concepts.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards
  • Experience in industrial electrical projects

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Successfully completed the NCEES FE (EIT) exam, and capable of obtaining a PE license.
  • Previous experience with Electrical CAD systems

 

Salary starting at $60,000 annually (depending on experience of candidate)
