Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to)

  • Supervise the electrical portion of Chair Lift Projects throughout North America
  • Assist and troubleshoot customer’s problems on existing lift installations throughout North America
  • Oversee seasonal or contracted electrical tradesmen work and ensure duties are performed properly and within the deadline set for the project
  • Assist the Electrical Department Supervisor with customer-estimated costs incurred during electrical installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Work in a professional tradesman-like manner and ensure that trade best practices is followed
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines while completing each project efficiently.
  • Coordinate orders and equipment supply with company factory and external suppliers.
  • Communicate between other departments within the company and customers on all electrical projects.
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to work at heights
  • Able to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment

  • Proficient Computer skills
  • Ability to work independently majority of the time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Journeymen Electrician ideal but not required
  • A Master Electrician designation ideal but not required
  • Experience in the Ski Industry
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of AC and DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB), is ideal
  • Third or fourth year electrical apprentice with ski area experience may be considered

Wages starting at $22.00 an hour (depending on experience of candidate)
